I would recommend starting out with a simple greeting telling the person hello, ask them how they are, and/or tell them your name. You may also want to say something that you found interesting about their profile. For example: “Hi there, my name is Tori and I see that we have the same taste in music!”

How do you leave a text conversation?

Try to remain friendly but be straightforward with your responses. If you dont want to talk to them, let them know you arent interested and end the conversation there. For example, if they ask you to hang out, you can say something like “Youre a nice person, but Im just not interested in you that way.”
