Question: How do I identify my Levis jeans?

How do I know what Levis I have?

At Levis®, we use a Product Code (which we call a PC9) to identify the Style and Finish of our products. The Product Code can be found in two places. You can see it on the small, white wash & care labels sewn into each of our products.

Where is the color code on Levi jeans?

Locate the color code on your Levi jeans tag to purchase a new pair in your favorite color. Look inside the jeans for a fabric tag. The tag is generally white and located at the back of the jeans under the waistband. Look at the tag to find a nine-digit product code, call a PC9.

How do I get the red tag off my Levis?

Work a small pair of scissors or a thread puller under each stitch mark on the outside of the leather tag. Snip or pull the stitches out one at a time, working your way around the entire label until it pulls off from the jeans. Snip off or pull out any leftover thread to remove all traces of the label and stitching.
